EquiFest of Kansas 2011
The 14th Annual EquiFest of Kansas returns to the Kansas Pavilions (formerly Kansas Pavilions) February 11th, 12th & 13th, 2011 and promises to be an action packed equine weekend. Presented by the Kansas Horse Council, EquiFest of Kansas is the largest all-breed horse fair and exposition in Kansas, attracting thousands of horse enthusiasts to watch, participate, learn and enjoy three days of equine clinicians, demonstrations, breed showcases, stallion reviews, competitions, Kid’s Corral, entertainment, food and shopping.
The clinician line-up for 2011 includes Tommie Turvey, Equine Extremist; Aaron Ralston, RFD-TV’s Host of “The Ride”; Julie Goodnight , RFD-TV’s Host of “Classic Skills for the Natural Ride;” Lydia Hiby, highly acclaimed animal communicator; Dr. Thibeault , equine veterinarian & author; Molly Powell, barrel horse trainer & clinician. Joanie Bolton; accomplished dressage trainer & USDF Gold Medalist; Bobby Dryer, popular “A” Circuit hunter/jumper trainer, judge & competitor.
The three days of activities will be highlighted by Tommie Turvey’s “Night of Amazing Horses” on Friday night. Saturday afternoon an Ultimate Horseman’s Challenge and Saturday night Hunn Leather Products presents a Ranch Rodeo Competition. The EquiFest “Colt Starting Extravaganza” on Sunday will round out the weekend.
Come to shop! EquiFest attendees will enjoy the expansive equine trade show featuring equine tack, horse trailers, feed, gifts, home décor, clothing, equipment and much more.
General Admission tickets are $15.00 per day for adults; $7.50 for children aged six through twelve. Three-day discount passes are also available; $40 for adults and $17.50 for children six through twelve years. Children five and under are free.
