Ann White

Ann White is the owner and head trainer at Vermillion Valley Equine Center and currently serves as the IHSA English Head Coach for Kansas State University. She began riding as a child and her love of horses carried into her adult life as she began teaching lessons and training horses. Throughout her career she has led several riders to success at local, and national competitions as well as having several students, including two of her own daughters, compete on National Collegiate Equestrian Association Programs. Ann has a long history with Kansas Horse Council (KHC). She was the founder of EquiFest of KS and served on the Kansas Horse Council Board as a past President. Ann has contributed to KHC for many years as a board member and advisor. Her passion for promoting the equine industry in KS is well known. Ann has been a member of the Kansas Hunter Jumper Association for 40 years, where she has also served on the board, supporting competition opportunities for English enthusiasts. She owns the Basement Tack and Apparel Shop in Wamego, as a retailer for the Hunter Jumper and other English discipline needs.
