Dave “Showtime” Meyer, a rodeo clown and entertainer from Jonestown, Pennsylvania, rose to prominence after winning the IFR46 Comedy Act Showcase Champion during the IPRA finals in Oklahoma City. Known for his high-energy, original acts and popular YouTube characters like “Jacob the Amish Man” and the “Horse Screamer,” Meyer blends physical comedy with relatable everyday experiences. Though he began his rodeo journey riding bulls in his late teens, he transitioned to clowning in 2013 and quickly built a reputation for creativity and crowd engagement. Today, he performs across the U.S. on tours such as Bullride Mania, backed by sponsors like Kimes Ranch Jeans and Nod Big Apparel, while also drawing inspiration from life on his family’s farm with his wife Becky and their two children. With a growing fan base and nearly 50 shows annually, Meyer continues to pursue his ultimate goals following in the footsteps of legendary rodeo entertainer Flint Rasmussen.
